To assist all incoming fifth graders with "need to know scheduling information" as well as Grizzell-specific details for transitioning to Middle School, we have created this Grizzell 5th to 6th grade webpage.
Please take time as a family to review the information provided on events, how to schedule your classes, and how to select a music class. We are so excited to have you join our school this fall as a Celt! Welcome to Grizzell!

A Welcome to Middle School event for parents of incoming sixth graders is scheduled for January 29, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!

Music: Band, Choir, Orchestra
Music Fittings for Rising 6th Grade
Band: Students interested in participating in the band should attend an instrument fitting on one of the following dates.
- January 30 at Scioto HS from 4 pm -7 pm
- February 1 at Scioto HS from 8 am -12 pm
- February 3 at Davis MS from 4 pm -7 pm
- February 11 at Grizzell MS from 4 pm -7 pm

Orchestra: Students interested in participating in the orchestra should attend an instrument fitting on one of the following dates.
- February 3 at Karrer MS from 5 pm -6:30 pm
- February 4 at Davis MS from 5 pm -6:30 pm
Orchestra fittings are open house style and signup is not necessary.
Choir: Voice placement and auditions are not required--just sign up on your course selection sheet!
